Tips for Choosing the Right Portugal Surf Camp
- Your ability: You want to choose a camp that suits your ability. Many camps are tailored to specific abilities and offer packages to accommodate this. Make sure to check before booking.
- Location: While most of Portugal’s top camps will be located close to all the waves, it's worth considering which waves are close by, according to your ability. It doesn't necessarily have to be close in distance, but make sure they have transport options that can get you to the waves you want to surf.
- Amenities: What do you want from your trip? Chances are you don't just want to surf.. Well, you probably do if you're anything like me, at least. But many surf camps also offer yoga and wellness options as part of packages, and excursions to sights and experiences.
